“Throwing what at you? I’ve tried really hard not to do anything to you, Randy.” Nora’s voice wavered in her conviction. He stared at the woman he still considered the most beautiful and wondered at her being so naïve.
“You don’t have to do a darn thing. All you have to do is be present, Nora. Your scent, your body, your eyes, your freaking voice…it all calls to me. The things I want to do to you right now would blow your mind.” Randy clutched the cushion on the couch in his fists. It was all he could do not to cross the space between them and pull her firmly into his arms.

A.C. Wilson just keeps getting better! This is the 3rd book in the Black Hills series and quickly became my favorite! Nora, ever the rebel, always lets her mind lead her heart. Her husband, Randy, is more the passive type. Which has put them in a bad place when an unexpected person from the past suddenly is in the picture again. Nora must decide which path to take. Randy must decide if what he has with Nora is worth fighting for, and if so, he has to figure out how to stand his ground with her. Can this Rebel and Cowboy figure out what is best for them both without destroying them completely? A.C. has a way of writing and making you feel as if know these characters, their town, their lives. Beautifully written and includes a bit of it all, angst, love, hurt, sadness, tears, happiness. Looking forward to the next one in the series!! **All of the books in this series are stand alones, however I recommend reading them all because they are just that darn good**
