Kyle is Arturo’s brother, Arturo was torturing Chloe until Kyle needed a bonus for a job well done. This book is extremely sexy. Dangerous, full of action and graphic without being over written. A great read, there were a lot of moments that had me holding my breath or thinking “no way!”
Kyle and Chloe’s relationship grows quickly, from his rescuing her to their loving each other, but like every relationship, they have problems – Big problems. Chloe was abused in the past, and several times throughout the book her past comes back to haunt her.
I can’t really say I was expecting a happily ever after for them, simply because of the lives they have led. But I can say, without giving anything away, that I was happy with the ending. Adams did a great job of wrapping everything up.
